All music on Lisen.to is created and owned entirely by us. You can stream tracks freely, and download them under the license types below. Choose the license that fits your use case.

1. Personal License (Default)

All downloads are automatically covered by our personal license. This allows free MP3 downloads for private use only.

Allowed:

  • Listening on your personal devices
  • Offline playback without distribution

Not allowed:

  • Editing, remixing, or sampling
  • Use in any public or commercial setting
  • Use in videos, streams, or DJ sets

2. DJ License (With Attribution)

DJs may use up to 60 seconds of a track in a non-commercial set, mix, or performance, if:

  • They provide clear, visible credit (e.g., “Track by Lisen.to”)
  • The content is not monetized or commercialized

Uploading to YouTube or platforms that display ads or generate revenue is not permitted under this license.

3. Commercial License

For any public, professional, or monetized use, a commercial license is required. This grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive right to use our music in commercial applications.

Included rights:

  • Use in YouTube videos, social media content, and ads
  • Sync with games, podcasts, apps, and livestreams
  • Commercial DJ performances (live or broadcast)
  • Use in shops, events, restaurants, or installations
  • Broadcast on your own online radio stream or station

Pricing:

  • $99/year – Annual license (renewable)
  • $399 one-time – Perpetual license (lifetime use)

4. Radio Stations & Streaming Services

Our commercial license also allows unlimited use across your radio or online station. However, licenses are issued per station or project. If you operate multiple streams, you’ll need one license per brand.

We do not require monthly reports or royalty declarations. Our music is not affiliated with any PRO or collection society.

5. Notes & Disclaimers

  • You may not resell, redistribute, or relicense our tracks.
  • All licenses grant usage rights only; copyright remains with Lisen.to.
  • Commercial licenses are issued per legal entity or channel.
