Afrobeats is known for its upbeat and rhythmic sound, often featuring a combination of live instruments and electronic music. Prominent artists in the Afrobeats scene include Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, and Tiwa Savage. Afrobeats should not be confused with Afrobeat, a genre pioneered by Fela Kuti in the late 1960s, although they share some similarities.
